Bowdies Chophouse People go to Chicago for a lot of reasons — the nightlife, the sports, the architecture, and the steaks. Chicago is a great steakhouse city. My family started out there. My father was a busboy at Ruth’s Chris, then became a server at Ditka’s. These high quality restaurants were a part of the culture and the lifestyle and became a part of our family.

When we moved to Saugatuck, we realized that it was missing a great steakhouse. We loved our new home, and adjusted well to the coastal small-town life, but it was something we missed too. We wanted to bring that great steakhouse to West Michigan. Bowdie’s is our contribution to our new home. It’s something we love to do, and we know how to do it right.

We recently brought on a new team member, Kenton — a great mixologist from Grand Rapids — in order to keep pursuing our goal of delivering the highest quality to our guests. That is why we have kept our size small. We want your dining experience to feel unique, intimate, and of the highest quality. Our dining room, which only seats twenty-five, feels like a classic steakhouse. Linen table cloths and candles set the atmosphere while keeping the focus on the reason you come to Bowdie’s — the steaks. We look forward to hosting you soon.
