during your time here. Aside from plenty of hiking and cycling trails, the reserve features a
multitude of animals including some tigers which actually live in the reserve itself. Keep your eyes
peeled for some of the many programs and interactive events for kids and adults in the center.
Grand Rapids Symphony
If you love music then catching the Grand Rapids Symphony is an absolute must. This orchestra
has been going since 1930 and it has grown to become one of the most famous in the country. The
symphony really puts itself about too, and there aren’t too many events in the city which do not
feature an appearance by the great band.
Gerald R. Ford Museum
After a President has left office there are often museums set up to celebrate their achievements
and chart their time in office, and here in Grand Rapids we have exactly that, dedicated to Gerald
R. Ford. Make sure that if you do go, you wait in line to enjoy the Watergate gallery and the 6-
minute history, a highlight of this particular museum.
